orange and lemon on white backgroundThere are many multipurpose unsung heroes in your cabinets such as Vinegar and Baking Soda. combined with various essential oils, you can easily create an all natural, economical and chemical free arsenal of cleaning products.





Air Cleaner

Citrus both uplifts the spirits and dispels bad odors. Into 2 cups of distilled water, combine a few drops of each (add drops until you achieve a scent that pleases you):
Lemon Oil
Lime Oil
Orange Oil

Pour into a misting spray bottle, shake gently before each use to re-blend oils.


Easy Window Cleaner

Mix together:

1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1/2 cup distilled water
8 drops lemon oil

pour into spray bottle and shake gently before use


Disinfecting kitchen and bathroom cleaner

2 tbsp vinegar
2 cups distilled water
1 tsp borax (optional)
10-15 drops tea tree oil
10 drops eucalyptus oil

Combine the ingredients and put the mixture into a clean spray bottle. Shake well. Use as you would any all purpose spray cleaner. Ideal for countertops. Eucalyptus has disinfecting properties and  Tea tree oil helps prevent mold and mildew.


Non Toxic Heavy Duty Cleaner

1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1 tsp borax
10 drops orange essential oil
5 drops lemon essential oil

Mix the water and the borax. Combine the rest of the ingredients to the mixture, and put into a clean spray bottle. Shake. Wipe surface clean and rinse. Ideal for grimy surfaces.


Quick Goo Gone

To get rid of that gummy residue left by stickers and price tags.  Use a dab of Orange Oil or Lemon oil. Not for use on all plastics, test small area of the item first.
